About The Jerrys

The Jerrys, a British-influenced guitar-pop band from Chicago, Illinois, are the sounds of Jerry Schwartz, who writes, plays, sings, and produces their music. Since their first CD was released in 2001, the Jerrys have continued to release original indie pop confections on a regular basis. The Jerrys are the jangly whim of one man--a whim with an edge and a sound of its own.

The Jerrys' debut album, Pop Go The Jerrys, contained fourteen songs, and listeners' comparisons ranged from Boyce and Hart to The Who to Matthew Sweet. After another CD--Jerryrigged--and several Internet singles, Best of The Jerrys was compiled and released in 2006. Two years later, What the World Could Use a Lot More Of (CD-EP) was released. Both Best of The Jerrys and What the World Could Use a Lot More Of are available on iTunes, Amazon, and CD Baby.

A new full-length album by The Jerrys is scheduled for early 2011, so stay tuned! This is one band that won't be breaking up anytime soon.
